Talking about your heart sinking.
Last week on Tuesday the 18th my dad had a prostate biopsy. Today I had the pleasure of hearing the news from the doctor. It's cancer. I can't even force myself to tell my dad. Called my mom right away, I'm going to let her handle this one. The doctor said that he needs to see dad to go over the treatment options, etc. He also said that "it" shouldn't effect his life span once the treatment (either surgery or radiation) is completed.
I'm not sure how my dad will react to the news. He hates doctors in general. This supposed to be just a routing thing. It's not supposed to end this way.

Four months old
My babies that is. January 21 2011 my babies turned 4 months old. How the hell this happened? Why are they growing so freaking fast? They are smiling, laughing out loud, rolling over, sitting (almost unassisted) and making us happy every single day!

IVF anniversary
What a difference a year makes! Yesterday was one year anniversary since we had the embryo transfer. Two, tiny embryos found home in my ute. Today we have 2 beautiful, almost 4 month old daughters: Natalia Mia and Emilia Isabela! What a year it was...
I was very sentimental yesterday. I remembered all those moments starting from ET to beta day, first USG showing 2 tiny sacks, first heartbeats followed by a vicious spell of morning (all day) sickness. The Big Ultrasound on May 19, 2010 - where we found out we were having two girls, a huge freak out when we learned about baby B possibility of kidney problems, the longest appt of my life with Peri - whom excluded all possibilities for potential problems... and finally their birth at 38 weeks gestation via c-section. All these special moments flushed in front of my eyes quite a few times.
My husband brought me flowers when he got home last night - that was such a sweet gesture. I snuggled and kiss my girls extra long last night. I can't even describe it how much I love them and how thankful I am for them every single day.
